Welcome to Kyrenia Opera

I cannot thank Kyrenia Opera and its General Director enough for this award. I will be using this prize money to further refine my craft by taking lessons and coaching with world renowned teachers and coaches from Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, Met Opera, and La Scala among many others. As an eternal student, I have endless gratitude for opportunities like Kyrenia Opera’s Vocal Competition, which strives to help and support young artists who show great promise for a career. Being given the opportunity to continue my studies is a priceless gift. Thank you again, Kyrenia Opera.

We were very happy to see a wonderful performance created with so much love and with exceptional cast, magical voices and worthy artists.

It was my first time at the opera. An amazing experience! I still have the songs in my ears and I sing them… “Mother, mother, mother come with me… I want to be sure that you see what I see!” I am looking forward to the next performance by Kyrenia Opera, but I would gladly go to the same performance again. All the singers and actors were wonderful. Conductor, bravo!

A stirring experience overall thanks to the well-sung performances and inspired conducting! Menotti’s enduring Christmas classic definitely brought back happy childhood memories that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Congratulations!
