What a wonderful evening! Thank you for being part of it!
Dear Friends,
What a wonderful evening! Thank you for being part of it!
Kyrenia Opera extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us on Friday, October 30, for Liberty · Ελευθερία at Terrace on the Park.
What a joy it was to see the room filled with so many friends, supporters, distinguished guests, and music lovers! Your presence, enthusiasm, generosity, and support made the evening truly memorable. We are deeply grateful to everyone who came together to celebrate music, culture, artistic expression, and the universal spirit of freedom.
We were honored by the presence of Father Gregory Stamkopoulos, representing His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America; Mr. Kyriacos Pogiatzis, Consul General of Cyprus in New York; Mr. Spyros Diamantis, Head of the Public Diplomacy Office at the Consulate General of Greece in New York; and Mr. Philip Christopher, President of the Pancyprian Association and the International Coordinating Committee – Justice for Cyprus. A special highlight of the evening was our keynote speaker, Fannie Petallides Holliday, who eloquently and movingly explored the enduring ideal of Freedom throughout history and the power of music and the arts to express, preserve, and inspire the human spirit.
The evening featured singer and actress Eleanna Finokalioti, joined by a talented choir of artists and a chamber orchestra. Together, they created a memorable celebration of music, culture, and artistic expression.
Beyond the music, Liberty · Ελευθερία carried a deeper message: honoring the power of art to inspire hope, unite communities, and give voice to humanity’s enduring desire for freedom.
Your support allows Kyrenia Opera to continue its mission of presenting exceptional performances, nurturing emerging artists, and inspiring future generations through the transformative power of the arts. To our sponsors, donors, supporters, artists, musicians, volunteers, and everyone who attended, THANK YOU! Your generosity and encouragement make our work possible.
We hope you left with beautiful memories, music in your hearts, and the knowledge that you are an important part of the Kyrenia Opera family.
